Our Story
The journey to founding Effy Everlasting is deeply personal. It began with witnessing the compassionate work of a dear friend, Dr. Ferris, who dedicated his life to providing at-home euthanasia services. His passing from COVID-19 was a significant loss, not just to his family and friends, but to the community he served. Dr. Ferris's ability to bring comfort and peace to families during their most challenging times left a lasting impression on me. I saw the difference he made, and it inspired me to continue his legacy of compassion and care.

My own experiences with pet loss has also been a motivator. The unexpected passing of my beloved cat, Effy, brought a profound sense of grief and helplessness. It was through navigating my own journey of loss and healing that I recognized the need for a service that not only addresses the physical needs of pets at the end of their lives but also supports the emotional well-being of the families who love them.

Effy Everlasting is more than a business; it's a calling. Our aim is to provide compassionate at-home euthanasia and palliative care for pets, and support owners through difficult end-of-life decisions. We understand the profound bond between pets and their families, and we're committed to supporting them with empathy, dignity, and respect during their most difficult moments. It's about spreading goodness and offering a guiding light through the darkness of loss, inspired by the legacy of Dr. Ferris and in loving memory of Effy. This is why Effy Everlasting was founded, and it's why we strive every day to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
